What we cover

Therapeutics and the clinical pipeline, the underlying mechanisms, the gut–brain axis, the diagnostics and the industry building on all of it — read against the primary literature, with the limitations left in rather than edited out.

Our standard

Claims are tied to peer-reviewed sources or primary documents. Effect sizes, sample sizes and confidence intervals are reported, not buried. Early-phase and observational results are labelled as such. No “boost your gut in seven days,” no miracle single strain, no diagnosing anyone over the internet.

Who publishes this

Microbiome News is an independent publication held by MCPC. It is a neutral platform: coverage of any company, product or study — including companies we profile — is reported on its own merits and sourced, and is never paid placement.

Everything here is editorial content for general information only — not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. For questions about your own health, talk to a qualified clinician.
